Skin Shield Products Ltd is a privately owned New Zealand manufacturer, specialising in skin protection products such as insect repellents, sunscreens, lip balms and muscle and joint products. Our products are proudly made in New Zealand for over 30 years (excludes travel accessories).
We have 2 main brands – REPEL (sold through selected retailers and specialist travel medicine clinics) and Active Duty (our NATO Codified range designed for and used by military personnel and sold through travel medicine clinics). So, it’s safe to say our products have been tested in the harshest of conditions! We have a product to suit all requirements and our active ingredients are in line with the WHO and CDC recommended levels.
We believe in listening to our customers and developing products to suit their needs. As a result of this we now also have a range of DEET-free and natural insect repellents as well as natural skin lotions and muscle rubs.
As well as making world-class insect repellents we are proud to be the New Zealand distributor of the Equip range of travel nets, sleeping bag liners and travel towels. So Skin Shield Products really are your one-stop shop for all your travel necessities.
Our products are sold extensively throughout New Zealand and Australia as well as being available throughout parts of Asia and the United Arab Emirates.

Shipping & Delivery
Products are sent with NOW Couriers for New Zealand deliveries and NZ Post for international shipping.
Our delivery service doesn’t require a signature and we CANNOT deliver to PO Boxes, so please provide a physical address when you order. We’ll email you a link to track your delivery which can be checked on the carrier’s website.
Delivery times
Within New Zealand: 1 – 3 days
Australia: 3 – 7 days
International: please ask us for an estimated delivery time to your country.
